Carrying Your New Baby Workshop – February

Description: Are you expecting? Or do you have a new baby under 3 months old? Want to find out more about slings and baby carriers but not sure where to start?
The Carrying Your New Baby Workshops are a great introduction to ‘babywearing’ – you’ll find out about the different types of slings, the advantages of each, watch demonstrations and get the chance to try them out with the help of a qualified babywearing consultant, as well as learning about babywearing benefits and safety.
Places are limited and cost £15 – which includes an 8 week hire of a stretchy wrap or caboo carrier, as well as handouts and refreshments ♡ If your baby isn’t due for a little while, you can reserve your sling hire for a later date.

Wildlife Wander
Organiser: Haddo House & Country Park

Description: Join us for a Saturday morning wander around Haddo. We’ll be looking for winter wildlife- red squirrels in the woods, ducks and geese on the lake, and Bullfinches and Long-Tailed Tits in the trees. We’ll also be learning how to identify trees in winter and where to find hair ice after a frost.
The first Snowdrops of the year will be around to brighten up the morning too!
Walk lasts two hours and will cover approx 2 miles, mostly on level surfaces but some grass. All ages/abilities welcome but we will need to stand quietly for some time to avoid disturbing wildlife, especially at the squirrel hide.
