Baby Carrier Drop In Session – Bridge of Don

Description: We’re delighted to be able to hold a Baby Carrier Drop In Session every month in Bridge of Don
Feel free to bring your stretchy wrap from the Scottish Baby Box as we’d love to give you a hand.
There will be trained baby carrying advice from Jess Hippey, owner of Close and Calm, and a large selection of carriers and wraps available for trying and for hiring. Should you wish to go on to buy a carrier after this, please inform Jess as discount codes are available for customers.
We will charge a £2 entry fee to cover room hire, insurance and professional fees. Children are always welcome.
We’re very lucky to also have a breastfeeding peer supporter present at most meetings.
We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch and look forward to meeting you. Our hope is to try and build an informative and supportive community so the more the merrier.
You’re also always welcome to bring your own carriers for help too.

We will be meeting in Maryculter Woods. This postcode will take you to The Meadows in Maryculter, where you can park in the Kirk car park – AB12 5GZ.
Once there, you’ll see a banner on the fence and you can follow the scarves on the trees into the woods to find us!

Campfire Crafts

Description: A chance to relax after the chaos of the holiday season; come and join the rangers in the Kincorth Hill woodlands for a gentle sit around a campfire with some woodland crafts. Activities could include willow weaving, whittling or similar gently paced activities allowing you to slow down and relax. Suitable for adults 16 years and older.
Meet at the reserve car park off Abbotswell Crescent. First bus 18 stops next to the car park.

Big Garden Birdwatch Event at Duthie Park

Description: Prepare for Big Garden Birdwatch 2018 by joining RSPB Scotland for some wildlife-themed activities. We’ll be identifying and counting the birds visiting the feeders in the park as well as making bird feeders for you to take home and hang up in your garden in time for the official count the following weekend.
