Last month I was lucky enough to be invited to a blogger event at Hamish Munro, a stylish fashion forward independent boutique located on Thistle Street in Aberdeen’s west end.
With a selection of top brands there is sure to be something for all tastes. Having just received their Autumn stock there were lots of gorgeous boots to choose from – I wanted them all!
Shoe boots are definitely on my wish list, perfect for work and evenings out. Only problem is deciding on which colour!
These cosy Zelly hats were everyones firm favourites!
There was a clear theme with the items in store showing what they predicted to be the key autumn trends – burgundy, navy and checks being amongst them. I love dark colours like these so this style is exactly what I like to wear!
Hamish Munro’s Director, Michelle, explained to us how some of the shoes she sources from the design shows in Germany can be custom designed by selecting different styles, colours, textures of the materials to create a unique style. She also explained that they tend to stock these shoes with only one pair available in each size – adding to the exclusively of the shoes!
We received some goodies from local gift shop Nova, located on Chapel Street. If you’re looking for a gift for any occasion I recommend checking them out – I recently popped in to get a New Home card & gift and found lots to choose from.
Both this Miss Dee necklace, which is part of a set, and Part Two scarf have become wardrobe accessory favourites of mine. Also I can’t wait to see how the matching earrings look with the necklace once my ear piercings finally heal – they will be the perfect addition to any Christmas party outfit!
I am definitely a shoe and handbag girl so after having a look on @HamishMunro‘s website, I just had to pop back and treat myself to this gorgeous black L Credi handbag for my birthday, which is just perfect for work and for when I don’t need to pack 100 and 1 items to go out with S!
I would like to thank Michelle and Kirsty, Marketing Coordinator, for having me along to the event and letting us know more about Hamish Munro!
