Saturday

Daddy was working in the morning so me, S and Igglepiggle headed into town for a look around the shops, so I could possibly pick up something to wear that evening. We were only in town for an hour and a half, which was definitely long enough as I lost count how many times I had to pick up Igglepiggle! I tried to confiscate him but that just lead to a huge toddler meltdown!

Plus his water bottle kept getting passed back and forth. Don’t think he could make up his mind whether he wanted it or not!

Linton & Mac 1st Birthday Party

Late afternoon I headed to the 1st birthday party of Linton & Mac, a fashionable hair salon and style bar located in the centre of Aberdeen, with one of my friends. I will post a separate post with all the details, but heres a few for now!

We had a fab evening at the party, and will definitely be popping back sometime to use their make up and style bar services!

Sunday

Techfest Activity Weekend

We headed to the Techfest Activity Weekend in the morning to check out what they had on. We only had time to stay for hour and a half before we had to head home for Daddy to get organised for work.

S had fun with the soft play before heading to the Teddy Bears Hospital where Igglepiggle was checked out and had his leg bandaged up. He also loved wearing the 3D glasses and looking at the 3d CT images in the screen.

Next we went to see the Body Works on Tour exhibition. S loved the drum which would beat to your heartbeat when you held onto the pads.

There was also an interactive display showing the effects smoking can have on your lungs.

There was lots going on but unfortunately we were tight on time. We will be returning in future years as its a great opportunity for children to learn in a fun environment.

Relaxed afternoon

After a quick food shop and some lunch Daddy headed off to work so me and S headed out for a walk.

I decided to batch make some ham, egg and cheese egg muffins for S so we have a quick and easy option for lunches and dinners.

However he’s a very picky eater and the muffins didn’t even get looked at at dinner time! I’ll keep trying though as he’s going to have to give in at some point and start eating the food I make him!
