Mummy Mimi is off to BlogOn Xmas 2017
This weekend I’m heading off to Manchester with fellow Aberdeen Blogger, Denise from The Life of Dee, to attend my first blogger conference – BlogOn Xmas 2017.
This is something which is way out of my usual comfort zone but something I know will really benefit me and push me to be more confident!

If you could choose a band to play in your garden for your birthday, who would you pick?
Not a band but the music artist I would love to see again would be Ed Sheeran.
What do you take with you for long visits to the toilet?
My phone, what parent doesn’t hide in the bathroom from time to time just to get 5 mins peace!
What word can’t you spell?
I’m so bad at spelling, spellcheck and Google are my best friends when it comes to this! Restaurant, is one that always gets me.
What’s the most unusual job you’ve ever had?
I don’t think any of my jobs could be classed as unusual – I’ve mainly worked in hospitality or accounting.
Knitting, sewing or crotchet?
Can’t really do any – although if something needs sewed on, like a button, I can manage that but it’s probably as far as my skills stretch there!
Without looking it up, what is a jerkinhead?
Not a clue… off to Google!
If you could have as much of one food as you wanted forever, what would it be?
Pizza! Preferably with ham and tomato toppings…. oh or garlic bread!
What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?
Probably giving birth since I really didn’t know what to expect! But all went well and it was not as bad as I expected – I had what some would say was a relatively ‘easy’ labour.
If you needed a getaway driver, who would you choose?
Mmm… my dad! I think he’s the best driver I know.
Would you rather live in Narnia or at Hogwarts?
Probably Hogwarts… this is where I will admit I have never seen any of the Harry Potter films and have only read the first 3 books – and that was about 18 years ago!)
What snack food says ‘Christmas’ to you?
Mince Pies – although until I got older I had never tried them as my dad had us convinced that it was mince beef in them – which I didn’t eat at the time!
Is there life on Mars?
I’d like to think there is some other life form out there.

The Holiday – Amanda (Cameron Diaz)
What are you proudest of?
Sounds cheesy and rather predictable, but my little boy!
Other than him probably completing my professional exams as they were tough going!
