Our weekend in photos, 9th -11th July 2016. Monday was a local holiday so we had a 3 day weekend and for the first time in ages both Mummy and Daddy were off work on the same day on the Monday.
A rainy morning killed off our plans to go and play in the park so we headed inside the Winter Garden’s in Duthie Park.
In the afternoon we had a couple of friends round. The boys had fun running around the living room whilst I was able to catch up with my friend over coffee whilst laughing at the boys antics.
We popped round to my parents for dinner as it was Uncle R’s birthday so the evening was filled with yummy food, cake and watching Grandad’s attempts to fix the recliner on the sofa (with a bit of help from S!)
On Sunday morning me and S headed to the Dennis Law Family Fun Day which was held at Aberdeen Sports Village.
There was plenty of activities for the kids. S enjoyed the bouncy castle, scooters, soft play, giant dominoes and running away from Mummy on the running track!
After Daddy finished work we headed up the road to see Granny & Granddad W. We headed to the Davron for dinner, where S was being a bit of a diva but we were saved by the nursery rhyme videos in the KidloLand app on my phone! (Which we will be reviewing and hosting a giveaway for very soon!)
We went looking for frogs in the garden pond and managed to find a few. There were also a couple in the garden, with one poor frog was chased around by S!
In the afternoon we headed to a fundraising inflatables day, which had two of S’ favourite things – bouncy castles and ball pools!
So that was our long weekend? Did you get up to much, let us know in the comments below or @Mummy_mimi.
