Join RSPB Scotland staff and volunteers to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of red kites being reintroduced to Aberdeenshire. We’ll be at the Cullerlie Stone Circle near Garlogie with binoculars and telescopes to look for red kites in their natural habitat and share information about these amazing birds of prey.
We’ll also have a life-sized red kite nest as well as lots of arts & crafts activities for families, including the opportunity to make a paper kite to fly and take home!
The red kite recovery in North East Scotland is a real conservation success story. Find out more here, including details of our special photo competition to celebrate the anniversary – https://ww2.rspb.org.uk/our-work/conservation/projects/aberdeen-red-kites
