The other weekend I popped along to the Your 5 event at Union Square for a make-up consultation and to find out about this autumn’s fashion trends.

I wanted a natural look as I’m not one to0 wear much make up, or have the time to apply much! I was pleasantly surprised to find out 3 of the make up products used on me were from New Look!

New Look Pure Colour Mattifying Primer £6.99

New Look Pure Colour BB Cream £6.99

New Look Pure Colour Contour Palette £5.99

I popped into New Look after to pick them up after and discovered they were also on a 3 for 2 deal, so all 3 totalled £13.98! I also picked up a Real Techniques Stippling Brush from TKMaxx after seeing the difference when the BB Cream was applied using it – I’ve tended to just use my fingers for applying primer and BB creams in the past.

After having my make up done I was then shown round the clothing area highlighting the 5 key pieces for this autumn – The Coat, The Knit, The Wide-Leg Trouser, The Boot and The Skirt.

My picks were:

The Coat – This military style coat stood out for me, perfect for work and evening wear –  £75 from Wallis

The Knit – this cosy knit is only £9.99 from New Look, perfect for throwing on on a chilly autumn day.

The Wide Leg Trousers – I loved these flare jeans – £150 from Michael Kors

The Boot – every girl needs a bit of sparkle and these boots caught my eye straight away – £24.99 from Deichmann

The Skirt – this black skirt would go perfectly with black tights, boots and a chunky knit for a relaxed weekend look – £14.99 from H&M

If your heading to Union Square take a look at their Union Square Plus App for the latest news, offers and deals from the various shops and restaurants within the centre.

*** I received a voucher in return for this post, however as always views and opinions are my own ***

  1. You scored a bargain with your make up! Love the flared jeans but a bit out of my price range :), the sparkly boots are gorgeous xx

  2. Yes the make up was a bargain 🙂 They are well out of my price range too but a girl can dream! I think I may need to go back and get the boots though! x

  3. I have never tried New Look makeup -looks fab! Those boots are a bargain! I like a lot of the quirky velvet boots this season but can’t see spending a lot on them, will have to check out Deichmann! 🙂
